Potato dextrose yeast gellan gum dry mix has higher clarity then agar and is good for isolation. Mix with one liter of distilled water and pressure cook for 20 minutes at 15 psi. Allow to cool to a safe handling temperature and pour into plates. Allow to set. Will continue to be transparent when set as a gel.
